Betty Ann Vandermay
Originally from Northern Ontario, Canada, Betty Ann went to Wilfrid Laurier University outside of Toronto where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology. She was hired through on-campus recruiting at RBC (Royal Bank of Canada) and began an intensive one-year management training program.
Rising through the ranks quickly, she managed numerous retail branches and then Private Banking for Latin America and the Caribbean in Toronto. At RBC, she was able to sharpen her leadership skills to provide superior customer service to affluent off-shore clients and effectively train and motivate many staff members. She was selected and awarded as one of the banks top performers out of 50,000 Canadian employees, the Royal Performance Award for outstanding performance and contribution.
She has lived in 14 different cities across Canada and the US while raising 3 sons with her husband John. During this time, she participated in various volunteer opportunities including the NICU at a local hospital, Parent Council Chairman, running with disabled athletes, procuring items for charity events, and fostering animals. She is also a Certified Integral Associate Coach with Integral Coaching Canada.
Betty Ann is an avid triathlete and can’t believe her luck in having the quintessential training weather year-round. SW Florida is the perfect place for training, having completed 13 triathlons, including a full Ironman to celebrate turning 50!
Betty Ann is excited to share her wealth of relocation knowledge with people choosing Florida as their new lifestyle.
