Overall market conditions are good. Not quite the pace of previous year, but steady and resilient. It’s been a year of streaks. A neighborhood or condo will get hot, and sales will fill the sheets. Other properties just sit. It’s like the fishermen, good ones are always searching for the bite. Experienced agents keep an eye out for the customers they serve. It’s about being at the right place.
What a difference a year makes. New water policy from Lake Okeechobee has our waters clear and many to thank. This should help. With Naples, Bonita, Cape Coral and the Fort Myers real estate market, about the same as last year…Ft. Myers Beach and Sanibel markets are still off this year…both may catch up. Last year about this time, Sanibel Island sales started to fall because of environmental issues. This year sales pace has not been hampered by any issues. That will help improve sales over last year.
